Hey, I saw yur post on the yoga journal. There's a really lovely teacher in portland who I met in india. I believe she's on the next island at the moment (i'm in thailand on koh samui!). If I bump into her I'll pass on her details :)

Her name's Melanie (she has a friend who teaches with her, I forget her name). I'm still on the other island. It's Ashtanga yoga (suitable for fit young things!).

I saw your post on DP and just based on your interests and such, I thought I would say hi and tell you about our school community- www.villagefreeschool.org (or www.myspace.com/villagefreeschool)
we are just starting to try to organize a way to get involved in a kboo internship/class for some of the kids at our school. Several of our staff members also live in cooperative shared housing situations. We're having an open house 2/17 if you want to come and check it out.
